Hanwha Investment & Securities to run two-track token securities, RWA strategy for digital asset regulation

Hanwha Investment & Securities is accelerating its digital asset push after declaring in October last year it would become a specialist digital asset brokerage. It plans to expand investment and collaboration with digital asset firms while preparing for regulation by pursuing domestic token securities and overseas real-world asset (RWA) tokenisation. DA Platform team head Byung-chul Lee outlined building a platform linking product discovery, issuance and subscription, and wallet and custody, starting with issuance and underwriting.
